Riverside Primary School
When a lovely school in Rainham asked for ABC's help in creating an outdoor reading space for their pupils to enjoy reading for pleasure, we swung into action.
Under their existing gazebo we laid a large weatherproof rug, filled some bookcases on wheels with preloved books and decorated the space with bunting, ivy and colourful swathes of material to make it feel special. An abundance of colourful cushions make a cosy reading space for the long summer months - but we're sure the children will make use of the space whatever the weather.
