Rachel McMillan Nursery School

What a joy to be trusted with a library build as important as this! With funding secured by the outgoing Head Teacher, her legacy library needed to be completed and opened before her departure. With only a matter of weeks between the initial meeting and the final launch, ABC successfully transformed a previously disused room into a vibrant, Rainforest-themed library.

Providing children under the age of four with a dedicated space to explore books and develop a love of stories during these crucial early years is proven to have a significant and lasting impact on their future outcomes.

The Mayor of Greenwich Linda Bird cut the ribbon at the launch, and the children didn't waste any time in settling down in their reading den, snuggling on the cushions and listening to stories being read to them.

We are sure they will enjoy their library for many years to come and are delighted that we could honour the retiring head teacher Rachel Hogarth - who had dedicated 20 years to the nursery - in this way.
