Heathfield Primary Academy

Heathfield Academy is cited on Heathfield Gardens, an area with great historical relevance. The pupils decided to honour this by choosing a rose garden theme for their bespoke reading space.

The Pupil Parliament created the most brilliant mood board, that left no doubt that expectations were very high! After some dedicated and very successful fundraising, the school library project was ready to begin. ABC understood the brief from the school. They wanted a reading for pleasure library that was inspirational, exciting and welcoming. With such a large room it was easy to divide the huge room into designated zones, including an area where the Pupil Parliament can have their meetings.

With a large rose tree, a bench to sit on, lots of rugs and cushions and the most amazing tactile rug that everyone loved ABC really nailed the brief. Of course the library was filled with more than 1000 preloved books too which had been collected from the local community for the project.

ABC's project partners were The Frankham Group who facilitated the donation, collection and delivery of the pre-loved books to the school, and we are very appreciative of their support. Construction Consultancy - Frankham Group
