Goodrich Primary School
A huge disused classroom and a generous budget from the school's PTA meant that ABC could create a fantastic show stopper library at this primary school in Dulwich.
The build was made even more special by celebrated children's author Michael Morpurgo cutting the ribbon at the opening ceremony! Working from a detailed mood board created by the pupils, ABC took care to incorporate everything the children wanted to see in their library, including a huge tree with built in bookshelves, a reading nook, lots of comfy cushions and furry rugs and blankets.
Once again we worked with master craftsman Dave Blacker from Olivbells to design the tree and nook. Clever use of lighting and furnishings ensured the library became the comfortable cosy space the children had imagined.
