Cuddington Croft Primary School

This ambitious project saw ABC take an unloved intervention space through every stage of its transformation. Together with our partners at Olivbells, ABC oversaw the painting, carpeting, design and installation of the library in a central hub of the school.

With a budget that many schools can only dream of, the PTA at Cuddington Croft had a healthy amount to devote to creating a library the children will enjoy for years to come, a legacy project they could be proud of.

We worked alongside the school creating all the various design elements. The Head Teacher and SLT had complete input into many of the aspects of the finished product, it was a truly collaborative experience and one that has delighted everyone involved.

Dave Blacker at Olivbells created a centrepiece tree that spanned an incredible 20ft across the width of the room, plus an incredibly detailed and realistic reading hut for the children to relax and read in.

The excitement of the children was clear to see as they saw their library unveiled for the first time after being under wraps whilst construction took place. It was well worth the wait!
